Fotopala is dedicated to helping the people of Central America, and it is focused on community empowerment in the following 4 areas:

- EDUCATION – English and Spanish language instruction
- BUSINESS – Work and business opportunities
- ARTS – Creativity, music, spiritual expression
On the Serve page you’ll find a list of organizations that are serving in Central America, so I encourage you to contact them directly with regard to doing volunteer work.
The Teach English section provides guidelines on How to Become an English Teacher as well as a look at English proficiency levels around the world. When you teach people English you empower them to improve their lives by enabling them to work in tourism and other industries.
Under Learn Spanish you will find Spanish Words and Resources and several pages of image sliders that will help you develop Spanish language skills. You can also purchase images found on Fotopala by going to the Shop section.
I hope that the Personal Wellness page is useful to you, and on the Market Strategies page is a description of the consulting work I do to help organizations improve their marketing activities and business operations.
100% of the money that you give here goes directly to organizations that help the people of Central America, as well as 100% of the money received from the purchase of images in Shop. You can give by clicking on the Donate button below, however please understand that anything that you give through this site is not tax-deductible since Fotopala is not a registered 501(c)(3) organization … I simply funnel 100% of the money received on this site to organizations that are already serving in Central America. The other option is to find a registered 501(c)(3) organization on the Serve page and give directly to them.
